The Association of Bircza Researchers (ABR) is a group of people who are dedicated to genealogical and other forms research pertaining to the Bircza area. The group includes yōtsʾéy Bircza (community emigrants), descendants of former Bircza residents, and others. The ABR has a listserv for exchanging information and communication between members. Information sent through the listserv is stored in the group archives, which the members can access. Simply put, the ABR is a way of keeping Bircza researchers connected and aware of each others’ progress.
